STEP 1: PREPARATION TOOLS

STEP 2: GENERAL CHECK

  • Check for damage, rust of electrical cabinets, discoloration in main breaker and busbar
  • Check for overheating, noise, unpleasant odors
  • Check rain water, external agents such as birds, mice in the cabinet
  • Check if the connection cable is broken or disconnected?
  • Adjust the “zero” for the meter and the operation characteristics of the regulator relay
  • Check the insulation level within the allowed regulations

STEP 3: CLEAN THE ELECTRICAL BOX

  • Cleaning and vacuuming the inside of low voltage cabinets
  • Treat the rust if present in the cabinet
  • Clean the arc extinguishing chamber of the cabinet
  • Clean and tighten all connection bolts in the cabinet
  • Add grease to moving joints

STEP 4: TEST, CALIBRATE THE EQUIPMENT

  • Use specialized equipment to measure insulation resistance, contact resistance of ACB, MCCB, dynamic contactor
  • Cold test without load control circuit
  • Check operation of Timer and PLC control systems
  • Measurement of insulation resistance of low voltage busbar system
