The story this time would like to tell about her – Ms Ngan – “As a female construction designer, you must have a heart that is passionate about the profession”.

As a young lady who grew up in a well-off family in Hanoi city, she never proved to be a “lady”. From a young age, she had a very independent and strong personality. She is passionate and pursues drawing. She nurtured her dream and burning passion to become a female construction engineer. Her parents were not afraid of anything and are very supportive of her even though her aspirations are different from many of her peers. They understand that she has the full capacity and will to pursue a career that is not easy, especially for woman.

She passed the entrance exam to Hanoi University of Architecture, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering and Urban Environment with excellent scores in all subjects. It was at this school with a long history of technical training – technology – design in Vietnam that she learned a lot of new knowledge. Graduating with remarkable results, she immediately began to screen and look for opportunities to join big companies in Hanoi city. And the Water and Sanitation Company Limited VESA is the “red carpet” place to welcome her. She told herself that this would be a worthwhile place for her to devote herself, with all the enthusiasm and boiling will of youth.

She shared the most memorable memory during her work, perhaps the first time she went to survey water treatment works in Sapa town, Lao Cai province, where the altitude is 1,500 m – 1,800 m above the seawater level. Struggling to travel long distances, then climbing and rowing on the big steps, fighting with the cold wind of this place, while still making sure to complete the measurement work, take pictures of the scene,… In times of racing against time to keep up with the bidding documents, she and her colleagues stayed at the company editing drawings until late at night. And in important meetings, she demonstrated the technology design process on behalf of the company with investors and major contractors…

After all, she considers this as an opportunity to hone and refine herself and accumulate valuable work experiences. She considers herself much more mature, both in terms of knowledge, steadfastness and assertiveness in any work decision.Through years of learning with new challenges every day, she has been with the company for 5 years, becoming a deputy manager of Technology Design department and an effective arm contributing significantly to the growth and development of the company.
