VESA responds to Earth Hour 25.3

Earth Hour is a global initiative, considered an annual international event that is highly acclaimed and supported around the world. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about climate change and save energy by turning off unnecessary electrical equipment within 1 hour.

In Vietnam, this year is the 14th year Earth Hour was launched. This year’s theme is “Saving electricity into a habit”. It is expected that tonight (March 25), from 20:30 to 21:30, 63 provinces and cities across the country will turn off their lights to respond to Earth Hour 2023. It is known that in 2022, after 1 hour of turning off the electricity to respond to the campaign, the whole country saved 309,000 kWh, equivalent to an amount of more than 570 million VND.

VESA invites you to join us to Turn Off Lights Without Burning Candles from 20:30 to 21:30 tonight.
