Nikko Johkasou tank shell is made of FRP composite material applying compression molding technology.

This technology uses molds and pressurization and heating machines. Under the pressure of compression and heating of the mold, a curing reaction occurs causing the product to completely cure.

Advantages of compression-molded composite compared to fiber-wrapped composite:
1. The adhesion of the material layers is perfect, the product durability is eternal (thanks to the action of compression force and heating);
2. The finished product meets the standards according to the mechanical and mechanical calculations of the material’s compression and bending, minimizing the risk of surface cracking (thanks to the use of molds);
3. Fast production time, mass quantity, suitable for large-scale production and commercial sale.

In Vietnam, this technology has not been applied due to the huge initial investment in equipment procurement.
